Dear Members and Friends,

It is with a very heavy heart, that I let you know that in light of the government announcement last night we must now close the golf club for the next three weeks or until the next government update.

There will be many questions going forward and please be assured that we will be looking into them all, but this may take some time and at the moment there is understandably limited information available to us from the government.

We have had a confirmation email from England Golf to state that all golf clubs must now close. Full details of the statement can be found on the England Golf website – click here to read.

The greenkeepers are on site maintaining the golf course so after all, this has been worked out and the facility is back open we can look forward to a stunning unused golf course. Secretly I bet the greenkeepers are/looking forward to a golfer free course to work on!

It’s such a terrible situation for all but the health and well-being of the nation is the only consideration that matters at this moment.
