MB Monthly Better Golf Plan I have just released my new coaching menu which is live from 1st December, there are some new pricing and the menu include’s the recently revamped monthly better golf plan. This has been in place for just over a year now and I can confidently say this is working. Milestones are being broken, Personal Bests and handicap reductions are all happening. What is it? For those of you that haven’t seen it before, it is a coaching and practice plan. One lesson and month and range balls included for you to practice with in-between sessions, the use of our technology in the teaching bay, priority booking and much more. One of the guys who has kindly taken the time to discuss is Stevenage Club Captain Mike Murray. ‘’Around April 2018 my golf game was at a stage where I wasn’t improving and I needed to have some solid advice form a golf professional. After arranging a 9 hole assessment with our Club Professional, Matt Bannister and I both came to the same conclusion where my game needed tiding up and I should see improvement straight away. On 30th April 2018 my Handicap was 12.4 and I wasn’t moving at all, after the assessment I booked onto the monthly lesson plan with Matt and we started working on my game. We looked at my ‘basic’s’ including posture at address and swing path first. As part of my commitment I made sure I worked on all aspects of the previous lesson to make sure we was moving forward. After the posture and swing path came together we then worked strike and distance wedges from 100yds and in and this has helped a lot with my approach play. Putting has always been one of my strengths so we haven’t worked too much on that front but I know if I ever need to look at this we will work on this straight away. One of the biggest things I found that helped me was the app that Matt loads all the sessions on to and you can review all video content from lessons whilst working on your game. Since working with Matt I’ve now come down from 12.4 to 7.0 in over a year. Even though this has happened I’m still going to keep working with him as my main goal is to become a category 1 golfer by next year. If you have plans to start a plan with Matt I would recommend doing so. I can’t take the credit for Mike’s achievements because although Mike has come to me for instruction and guidance to improve his game ultimately it is Mike who has hit balls and worked on his game to make these improvements. Congratulations on the improvement and now let’s push onto Cat 1 golfer!
