Any product with ‘P’ at the start of the product will have a two year life cycle and product like GAPR and Spider putters which seem to have been around a while now will continue to do so.

We did get to see the Tiger Woods Irons which were amazing! And with a huge price tag we could see why.

The new product for next year has an embargo on it and we had to sign NDA to see it, so all though I can’t share pics or what it will look like it is safe to say we were all very impressed with the new line up!

A final decision is yet to be made by the team but it looks promising that TaylorMade will feature in the shop next season!

There Is Still Time

There is still time to get on board one of the Unlimited Coaching Programs with myself or Ryan. Unlimited coaching between November and March! If you want to play better next season why not start to plan now?

If you have a lesson a week, that works out at 21 lessons over the winter breaking down the cost of a lesson to better than half price! If you can squeeze more than one a week even better! These are limited so get in sooner rather than later!

MB Better Golf Plan

Over previous weeks I have shared my goals from last season and if I hit them and then my goals for next season. Last week I shared Stevenage GC Club captain Mike Murray’s journey from 12 handicap to 7!

The Monthly plan is in place for you to get on board and start a journey to better golf! Guys/Girls currently on the plan have been smashing PB’s, breaking key milestones and playing better golf. The long and short of it is based around one lesson (or more) a month and 4 large range bucket balls are included each month! So one lesson a month, hit balls once a week and get better!

With a couple more golfers signing up this week starting with an on-course assessment for new and existing players we will see what is happening on course and put a plan in action around evidence on the course!

Herts PGA events...

The main Eastern Region calendar is drawing to a close, but not to worry as we still have some events locally that may appeal to you.

The Herts PGA offers a number of Pro-Am events through the ‘off-season’ and start in October. Ryan and I would love to take a couple of teams to each of these events. The venues are great and priced at £65 a man and made up of teams of 3 and a pro. Bacon/coffee rolls to start, a round of golf, two-course meal and a prize table are all included in the day (prize table subject to our results) plus the company and guidance from your resident golf pro’s for the day.

Which do you prefer?

Golf clothing is famous for taking a bit of a knock from other sports and, in all honesty, in years gone by, it did deserve it. However, today’s golf-specific clothing often sets the tone for smart, high-performing sportswear that is versatile enough to be worn anywhere.

If you've ever been to a fancy dress party, we're sure you would have seen someone dressed as a golfer from the 19th century - plus fours, knee length socks and flat caps.

Spotlight | Callaway JAWS MD5 Wedges

What we love most about Callaway is that each time a new product comes out, it performs better than the one it replaces in the range - something we certainly noticed in the latest Mack Daddy wedges.
