Awards galore

So this week we had a hat trick of awards received at site. Myself and Events Manager Jane Watts received a WOW award. For those of you that don’t know what a WOW award is ‘The WOW! Awards is the only independent awards process for great customer service based purely on customer compliments.’

Jane received 2 awards for delivering great events at site. 2 customers nominated her for two separate events she organised. One for a Funeral Wake and one for a 40th Birthday.

Stevenage Golf and conference centre will host over 320 events this year that range from simple meetings, 1st birthdays, up to a recent 90th birthday, anniversary dinners, funeral wakes and Civil Ceremonies and weddings. If you have, or are thinking about, a special celebration coming up why not choose SG&CC for your event.

So what was I receiving one for? Well it was presented to me for the reviews I have received from people I coach and one review in particular from Golf Professional Sam Buss who I coach. Sam plays on satellite tours and is currently playing in Portugal for a month.

Online Booking

Great news we have recently given the go ahead for an online booking Tee Sheet. This will enable both members and visitors to book golf online.

We are looking to go live the week of the 11th December, which is next week but we will announce the change over here on the newsletter and via social media so keep your eyes out for when we go live. As with anything new, we do expect some teething problems so please bear with us during the change over, but also we would appreciate your help if you spot anything that could help speed up the transition.

All members will be given log in details in due course.
