We have some great news regarding the driving range at Stevenage Golf and Conference centre! Over the last year the site has seen over half a million pounds worth of investment in the site with the new gents changing rooms, the on course irrigation and recently the new teaching studio with GC2 and HMT launch monitors to name a few.
Well now we are moving onto the driving range and to kick us off we are installing 6 brand new 'Power Tees', with work commencing the week of the 19th December

To celebrate this install we are introducing a happy hour on the range on both Tuesday and Thursday Nights between 5:30 and 6:30pm. This is available now, so don't miss out.
Online Diary
I have started to trial a new Online diary where you can book your lessons and other products, such as gapping sessions, online without having to contact the shop or myself directly. Log onto my diary to see my availability and you can book. There are still some areas I am 'ironing' out but I am hopeful to go fully live in the new year.

We are now pleased to say we are offering Demo Clubs and custom fitting on site. We are able to custom fit for the Callaway XR Driver and Steelhead Irons. We will be adding to our custom fit portfolio in the new year.
Demo clubs are a great way to try the clubs before you buy them, either with us in the teaching bay using the launch monitors, or by taking the clubs to the range or golf course.
We have:

So, for Christmas I have put together a Christmas Improvement Package aimed at some fast improvements in your game. It's based around a new format I'm releasing in the New Year. How does it work?
An hour on course assessment where I will monitor your game and stats for you. Then a bit of an over view of your stats and a course of 3 x 45 minute sessions designed around the results of your on course assessment. So for example if we see you don't chip it close enough and 3 putt every other green we will focus a lot on the short game. If you don't hit any fairways from the tee we will work on some technique to hit it better and straighter. So each package will be personalised to the individual.
Finally we will finish with a 9 hole playing lesson to see that what you have learned is being put into practice.
All this for £160 saving 20% compared to if you booked the sessions separately.

The golf course is playing really well at the moment and with 2 great winter offers now is a great time to take advantage of the golf course conditions. As of Wednesday Buggies were still out! When has it been dry enough to keep the buggies out in December?
YMG Junior Golf
With the first two class's being such a success, the next new class will be starting at 12pm on Saturday 7th January. The class is an hour a week and for 8 weeks. Then after the 8 weeks the class moves up a level.
There are 10 x 8 weeks courses and each course gets more in depth in both technique and knowledge. To book your budding golfer in to the class, whether they currently play or want to start playing, contact us here to reserve their space.
